Goals 

• Assist in uplifting Christ in the church and the community, affirming that each woman has a gift and is valuable to the church. 
• Enrich our relationship with Christ by studying his word through prayer, regularly attending Church services, Sunday School, and Bible Study. 
• Have compassion and a desire to teach, encourage, and build up other women in Christ. 
• Develop goodwill among one another and not speak ill of each other. If there are problems or concerns, they should be addressed with honesty, sincerity, and grace.
• Support, encourage, and mentor new believers.
• Support and assist our men; not participate in male-bashing.
• Sponsor retreats and outings for spiritual nourishment and establishing unity and bonds of friendship with one another; develop strategies and suggestions to address our needs and concerns.
• Trust our Pastor’s direction, share his vision, assist in that vision through prayer, action and deeds, tithes, and offerings.
• Fervently pray for God’s favor and help as we serve him with pure hearts and noble purpose.

The WM tries to volunteer 2-4 times a year

2021 Volunteer Months – February/June and/or May/September

Book Scholarship Fund

The WM, in support of our graduating youth, provides a love gift to support furthering our young people’s educational efforts. 

Mommy & Me – LA Rescue Mission

In partnership with M2M, we collect children’s clothes, diapers, and formula through-out the year to donate to women and children at the rescue mission.

Thanksgiving Baskets

The WM passes out a minimum of 10-15 Thanksgiving Baskets during November to members and the community in need.

Skid Row – Christmas Backpacks

In partnership with the WMU-I, we buy and fill backpacks with misc. Items and distribute them in December to people on skid row.
